My angelfish keep grabbing a pellet, chewing it a bit, spitting it out, and then eating it again. They are relatively small angels still, somewhere between half-dollar and silver dollar sized. Are the pellets I'm feeding too large? I am using New Life Spectrum Community pellets. I've also tried Omega One "Betta Buffet" pellets we have for my daughter's betta because they are much smaller, but they do the same thing. When I've fed them with flake food (again, Omega One Betta Buffet), they do not do this. Is this something I need to worry about? Should I switch them to a flake food until they are larger? Any idea? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
