The revolt of Berata believers with the appointment of the new myti - the third within the year - has brought back to attention the scandal of the publication of salaries, as a result of the hacking of the system. This time it is not about any scoop with the super salaries of the screen vips, but with the miserable income and black payment of the religious ministers; namely the imams of KMSh, the largest religious community in the country. The Berata Muslims, who express in their petition that they feel ignored by the institution and reject the appointment of the mufti of Hizmet, have evidenced that the KMSh sees the local imams with the eyes of a stepmother, while "themselves" with the eyes of a mother.
This element was verified Spain Phone Number List precisely with the salary database of January 2021. It turns out that only one imam is employed: Haxhi Raga, out of 12 that Berat has. The others do not appear anywhere in the salary book. Naturally, the question arises on what basis is the differentiation made and how much are the other imams paid? From the analysis of the data, the very small number of KMSh employees immediately stands out: a total of 140. To perceive how few are 140 employees at the republic level for an institution like the "Albanian Muslim Community", it is enough to mention that a foundation as "WVA" has 194 eyes or that "Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania" has 322 salaried members.
As if this were not enough, only 82 out of 140 (so about 60%) are "employees of religious faiths", according to the hybrid designation in the database, or imams, according to the religious title they hold, while the remaining 58 are personnel with administrative functions. Practically, KMSh administers about 850 mosques in Albania, but has contracted only 82 imams. However, talking to different imams, we learn that most of them (9 out of 10) are also paid by KMSh, but with a fluctuating payment between 10,000 and 18,500 lek, clearly below the minimum legal rate, and this in the "black" social insurance. And yet, the above imams should be considered lucky even for those 500 lek a day, because in the district of Elbasan, for example, over 80 imams have not received a single penny from KMSh for years.
